Cinephile! Small announcement. From this week on, the weekly Big Fred Tuesday shows will be shorter, for reasons I won’t get into here. But it will still squeeze as much cinephile conversation as possible.
This week, I chat with the festival director of the Biografilm Festival in Bologna, Italy, and the festival director of a new BIPOC film festival in Dublin, Ireland, called Chroma International Film Festival.
I will also talk a bit about the role of the line producer on a film set for my weekly dictionary of film segment and highlight October (Ten Days that Shook the World) by Sergei Eisenstein and Grigori Aleksandrov from 1927 for this week’s Popcorn Classic. STAY CINEPHILE!
