I’ve known Thessa Mooij as a publicist, working with several filmmakers, for many years. And while I have been aware of her love of music for quite some time, I recently discovered that she was working on her very first EP of her own songs. I got interested in this project and decided I would document a chat with her on the experience of recording this EP, which will be titled Six Songs and officially released sometime this year.

At the time of doing this podcast, she was in the midst of the recording process and we talked about that as well as some of the EP’s songs and the origins of her interest in rock and roll.
